On 27th March 2025, rCOMSDEP Successfully handed over 200,000 euros worth of startup kits to 127 trained artisans in welding and fabrication, leather works, fashion and design within the Obuasi enclave through a partnership with AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) and Deutsche Gessellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

A strategic partnership between the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Social Investment Fund (SIF) has positioned rCOMSDEP as a co-implementing partner of the Ghana Women and Youth and Social Cohesion Project (GWYESCO) Project ($68.9million) for the period 2026–2030. Through this collaboration, approximately 2,000 youth and women in mining communities will benefit from skills training and will be supported with start-up kits to enhance sustainable livelihoods.
